Dinner @ Home

My Mum-In-Law is out of town, so it is one of those rare occasions where we have dinner at home on a Saturday.

So, my wife ask if I could cook Chilli Crabs & Creamy Butter Crabs. I've never done either dish, anyway I was game.

So, I went to the wet market with my daughter in the morning to pickup 2kg of Mud Crabs. Brought it home and prepare (yes... remove the shell, lungs, ....) them.

Was not too bad for a first time trial. My helper also prepared a Filipino dish called Pork BBQ, very delicious.

I'm reading... "Going To America?"

Read about this book a few weeks ago in The Straits Times where the author Lydia Sin was interviewed.

Definitely worth a read and the many insights into life in America and how to settle in. Lydia has certainly captured the DOs and DON'Ts of living in America.

Back to Scottsdale Again

was back in Scottsdale this time for 2 weeks... searching apartments and schools. I even managed time for church.

I also had time to have dinner with an old friend from my college days. Have not seen her in more than 20 years.

Still very much undecided, but currently looking to get my kids into public school first. I'm looking to put both into Charter schools, but there is a long waiting list.

anyway, one of my videos here trying to see how far it is from where I potentially may stay. You'll hear my GPS directions going on in the background, it's my Samsung i780 loaded with Garmin Mobile GPS.
